DEAR IMPORTER,
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW BELOW STEPS IN ORDER TO COLLECT YOUR SHIPMENT.

1) CLEAR YOUR GOODS WITH AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMS AND QUARANTINE
All cargo entering into Australia must be declared to Customs.
Before you can collect your shipment you will need to contact a Customs Broker of your choice who will clear the goods through Customs and Quarantine. Please let us know if you need assistance.

2) PAY ALL CHARGES
If your supplier has paid shipping up to Australian Port please expect to be charged with Port Destination Charges and Terminal/Depot Fees.
Once you have paid our invoice please email your remittance to us and request for a document called “DELIVERY ORDER”. This document MUST be presented to the depot when collecting your shipment.
Funds must be cleared in our account for EDO to be released so we recommend settling account a minimum of 24hours in advance of cargo collection.

3) *** RELEASE TYPE ORIGINAL ***
This field is located half way down the arrival notice with the field Release. If your cargo has been shipped and is release type Original, then the delivery order cannot be released for collection unless the original bill of lading is express mailed to our PO Box 923, Campsie NSW 2194 via Australia Post. Usually shippers will release the original documents to importers by courier.
In the case that you have not received the original documentation please IMMEDIATELY contact your shipper directly and request they telex release the shipment at origin, once they complete this the delivery order can be released to the importer pending payment.

4) COLLECT YOUR SHIPMENT
Once the container containing your consignment is unpacked, we will send you a notification called OUTTURN REPORT.
On this document you will find the address where you can pick up the shipment and the storage date (the storage date is indicated on the bottom of the document).
You MUST collect your consignment before the storage starts or storage fee starting from (depending on the depot) AUD 55.00 + GST per cubic meter per day will apply (Minimum chargeable is AUD 160 + GST)
